On 1 February 2022, the Development Champions Forum (DCF) held a virtual technical consultation meeting organized by the DCF Secretary General in coordination with the FCDO, focusing on the following topics:

• FX auction mechanism of CBY Aden;
• Potential areas for intervention of the private sector;
• Possible areas of support to the private sector to create jobs and stabilize the economy;
• Sectors in need of support to address food insecurity.

The meeting was intended to inform the UK strategy towards Yemen and was attended by UK Ambassador to Yemen, Richard Oppenheim, and further FCDO staff (see also the Twitter post).
