Former politician. Dr Talib has been involved in Yemeni politics for more than 20 years. He was a parliamentarian (1997 – 2003), an anti corruption commissioner (2007 – 2009) and Cabinet Minister of Industry and Trade (2011 – 2014).

Talib’s passions in politics are governance, combating corruption and building integrity. He has spent many years exiled in Singapore and Cairo. He currently resides in Singapore in his third exile.
He holds a degree in medicine from Ain Shams University, Cairo.
