The Rethinking Yemen’s Economy initiative (RYE) convened representatives of the private sector, youth and civil society for consultation workshops in Amman, Jordan on October 1-2, 2017. The selected representatives each brought specific expertise on key issues identified by the Development Champions.

During the workshops RYE researchers briefed the participants on the preliminary findings of research on the following issues:  An Institutional Framework for Post-Conflict Reconstruction, Private Sector Engagement in Post-Conflict Yemen and Local Governance in Yemen Amid Conflict and Instability. Participants shared their feedback on the findings, and this was incorporated into the research papers.
